Baselining Road Works Safety on European Roads

The CEDR Transnational Research Programme call for 2012 addressed ‘Safety of road workers and interaction with road users’. The BRoWSER project will support this vision by:

  1. enabling national road authorities to understand how, when and where road workers are harmed when working on the roads, and
  2. understanding why accidents at road works happen and whether this is influenced by the layout and standards of works.

The BRoWSER project is running from February 2013 to June 2015.
